Loving cooking in my slow cooker with the cooler weather here. Who am I kidding… I love cooking in it anytime. But… I have been trying to find go to recipes that only have a few ingredients and I’ve found another combo that totally works. Well… according to my family anyway! A while back I shared this easy 3 ingredient slow cooker recipe for fiesta chicken which is a big hit around here. That recipe calls for chicken, salsa and cheddar soup. Knowing a can of condensed cheddar soup really ads a lot of flavor and moistness to chicken on the slow cooker, I wanted to find some other ingredients that could go with it to change up the flavors. Along came my idea for adding canned chiles. The color looks a little funky admittedly but the flavor? All in. The chicken is ridiculously tender and tasty.
- 2.5 Lbs of Boneless Chicken
- 1 Can of Campbell's Condensed Cheddar Soup
- Diced Green Chiles 8-10 oz (2 small cans)
- Add all three ingredients into your slow cooker. Stir periodically. Cook in your slow cooker for about 4 hours on high or 6-8 hours on low. Voila!
